This was my first time meeting/shooting this family and what a treat. They are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. So sweet to each other, helpful, loving. When I asked the baby to kiss daddy, everyone wanted a kiss. It was adorable. You should see the one where everyone is making a "kiss" face "helping" the baby kiss daddy! I will save it for the family. So here is their beautiful sneak peek! Thank you S family! Enjoy!

This was one of the easiest senior shoots that I've done. Mr. Z is such a polite young man and was willing to go along with the locations and poses that I (or my super helpful hubby) suggested. He has is future path planned out and I just know with his amazingly positive attitude he will go far in life. His sweet mama came along with us - I always love chatting it up with the mamas! And it was fun to see this mama and son interact. As usual, I got a sweet photo of the two of them together. She will like to have that little memory while her son is in boot camp! My family wishes Mr. Z the very best. Enjoy your sneak peek!

When I get the call to shoot for this family, I look forward to it every. time. They are wonderful. So easy going, fun to be around and chat with. I say it all of the time, but I have the BEST clients. This family wanted pictures with both sets of grandparents and a cousin. So we split the shoot into two different days and locations. The farm shoot was fun and the kids had a blast playing and checking out the farm critters. Then second shoot was woods/river. Just a beautiful location this time of year. Oh and the pictures? Well, check them out for yourselves! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

This shoot has been a long time coming! It was originally scheduled for August. Then for one reason or another it had to be rescheduled...multiple times. Several of those times were illness others the weather. But we finally got a date down where everyone was healthy, the weather was gorgeous all day, and then the clouds rolled in. Then wind, dust, rain! We pushed up the shoot time in hopes to beat the worst of it. That didn't work. But as we were standing around talking the winds died down, the rain, and dust quit and we were able to get a quick shoot in! And in all of the craziness that is a farm and two year old there were some great shots! I hope you love your shoot W family!

It has been three years since I last did a shoot for this sweet family. The first shoot was one that I did when I was just starting out. I loved their pictures then and I love how this shoot turned out too! They are so expressive and their family interaction were so precious that I had a lot of "material" to work with! Their little guy had a lot of fun with our mini goats and had a few pictures taken with one. Here is your sneak peek B family!

Here is the sneak peek for a fellow who did NOT want senior pictures. But at the bidding of his mom he did. He was a man of few words and smiles during the shoot. But behind that closed-mouth smile is a set of perfect, pearly whites. I got one and only one picture of him smiling with teeth! It is my favorite picture of the entire shoot. He said he wouldn't even look at the pictures. Do I believe it? No! Who can resist looking at pictures of themselves? Especially when they are posted on the photographer's blog, right? Hi, D! I hope you like them! :)

I love talking pictures of this family every year. They are so nice, easy-going, and funny! And they are so sweet to my whole family who tags along. They have the most beautiful property and we love to visit there. And this year they shared some of their awesome beef with us!!! I can't wait to eat it! If you know our family then you know that we eat red meat at least 5 days of the week. Anyway, I had a great time chatting with Mrs. S. and their pictures turned out beautiful. I am so excited for them to view their gallery. Thank you S family for having us up again this year.

Sometimes I get the most awful requests for work. To leave town and take some scenery pictures. I know, it is a rough, rough life I lead. On one such occasion last month, we packed the kids in the car and made it a day trip. It was so nice to get out and be creative. The very best part of this work is that I then get to walk the halls of St. Alphonsus and see my images on the walls printed and framed! I'll just pretend it is an art gallery! Here are a couple of the images from the most recent shoot. Thanks for blessing me with the work St. Al's!

I had another great shoot with another great family! I have been taking pictures for the O family since their daughter was tiny! She was actually one of the models for our calendar shoot almost 4 years ago. But now they have a new addition and what fun he is to shoot! So easy with the smiles! I hardly had to work for them. It was great to spend time with this family chatting since we enjoy some of the same things. The only problem we had were our goats! Too much of a distraction! Sorry for the delay on the sneak peek! Looking forward to more goat walking and teeter tottering!

I was blessed again with commercial photography. I love commercial shoots. There is a shot list and we get it done! I also love the behind the scenes set up and look into the world of doctors and therapists. The time you sit waiting? It is because they are that busy! Sometimes we just wait for a doctor to become available to shoot and then they get called away from the shoot and we wait some more. That was the case with this shoot. We almost called it a wrap because the doctor was called away so many times, but we finally got all of the shots we needed. Commercial shoots are never boring!
